Throughout his career Brandon’s practice has focused on helping people navigate legal issues primarily in the areas of family law and divorce. His hands on approach and desire to make a very difficult time easier for clients has led him to this type of family practice and still play a large factor in his approach to solving client's problems and helping them reach efficient and effective results.

Brandon attended undergraduate schooling at the University of Utah where he graduated in 2002 with a major in Mandarin Chinese and a minor in Economics. He then obtained his law degree in 2005 from the University of Utah, S J. Quinney School of Law, where he received awards for legal research and writing.

In almost two decades of practicing in the family law arena Brandon has proven to be a skilled negotiator, litigator, and advocate for his clients. He goes out of his way to inform clients of both their legal strengths and weaknesses so that they can make informed decisions about what is best for their future and family.

Brandon is a more recent addition to McConkie, Hales & Jones, having joined in December 2023. Prior to that, Brandon practiced for over 18 years with another family focused firm, Wall & Wall. Brandon has always insisted on working in a “boutique” environment where individual focus can be given to clients’ specific needs.

Brandon is married and is a father of three children, two boys and a girl. In Brandon’s spare time he likes to exercise, play all sorts of sports, vacation to beaches, and spend time with his family.
